About James

James

Many years ago, after running caricatures in his high school newspaper, James Mojonnier realized two things: he really likes cartooning, and he loves getting under people’s skin, especially that of left-leaning Americans. James first applied a love of politics to his artistic talent as a political cartoonist for Carnegie Mellon University’s newspaper, The Tartan. James’ work has been featured in newspapers across the country.

James lives in New Hampshire with his wife, Danielle, where they run an award-winning graphic design and illustration company, Grinning Moon Creative. His illustrations have been featured in numerous Grinning Moon designs such as book covers, print ads and brochures. James has written and illustrated two graphic novels, and is presently working on a third. In his free time, James likes to rollerblade and torment his black cat, Tillie.
